Sawtooth Camp has a variety of accommodations with a total of 125 beds.
In a wooded area on the west side of the camp are eleven sleeping cabins. Each is a single room with 2 cots and 4 bunkbeds to sleep a total of 10 people. Cabins are lighted with battery powered lanterns but otherwise have no other amenities. Restrooms with showers are a short distance away. Guests need a sleeping bag, pillow, towels and toiletries.
The Infirmary is located near the sleeping cabins is a first aid station for the use of special needs guests, and for medical or leadership teams of an organization. This cabin has three bedrooms: two bedrooms have a full size bed and one has a queen and a twin. There is a shared bathroom with shower. This cabin has electricity and propane heaters.
Palmer Guest Cabin
Nestled on the northeast corner of camp on the riverfront is a two bedroom cabin with a living room and fully equipped kitchen . The master bedroom has a queen bed and a bathroom with shower. A second bedroom has a queen bed and bunk beds. Bed linens and pillows are provided for the two queen beds, and towels are provided for up to six guests. Guests need to bring linens or sleeping bags and pillows for the bunk beds. This cabin has propane heaters and electricity.
This cabin has historically been used for a visiting Bishop , retreats of Sage District clergy, and for other groups renting the whole camp for an event. When it is not in use or requested for those events, the cabin is available for individual or family retreats .
Near the Palmer Guest Cabin is a small historic cabin with a double bed . It has electricity and nearby water supply. ( It was originally painted green and the name stuck.)
Two more historic cabins have joined Greenhouse. All three have been relocated from a mining claim on Emma Creek to Sawtooth Camp and are being historically preserved.
Tent and Trailer Camping
Family Camp Area: there are several sites near the Palmer Guest Cabin; some with power and water.
Bartee Flat: there are many primitive camp sites at the southernmost end of camp with no amenities.
